Anyone over 6-10 and can block/score? Or just anyone over 6-10?

That site shows us interested in, but not offering, this British seven footer, who has a highlight reel showing him both blocking and scoring from 15 ft... But since no one has offered him a scholly, I guess that means the scouts see a stiff. Or he's going directly to the pro's in Europe.

Forgot about the Barking Abbey guy. He's 7'-1", give him an offer, it's not like we've never had anybody sit the bench for four years. Maybe we get lucky for once, feel we're owed something.

I can think of a few reasons why he's not Bruiser's type of player.

The demise of the NBA center is mostly due to development of athletic, mobile big men with good outside shots. We're at no risk of recruiting one of those :)

I'd just like a rebounder and shot blocker who can sometimes be open enough to get the ball in the paint and slam it down.

It's not like we have many other reasons for people to pay attention to us...

Pure speculation: maybe he doesn't have the grades?

Then the real question becomes, will Bruiser allow said center to dunk or will said center get chewed out for dunking? Yes I know he has appeared to ease up quite a bit the past few years, but still a valid question.

So you want Chaz Crawford. Does he have any eligibility left? :)

I miss Chaz. Wish he'd scored a little more. Unfortunately it seems even he is the kind of talent we only see once a decade.

Boyd's a teal chicken now, so cross him off your list.

Coach Jordan sent out a newsletter to season ticket holders in which he states Overton will be sitting out all next season. Hope there is still a recruit coming in so we aren't down two before the injuries start piling up.

    Edit to add:
"Miles Overton will return to Philadelphia this summer after spending his first two seasons at Wake Forest. We are very happy to have Miles back in Philly. We recruited him very hard out of St. Joseph Prep when he was in high school. In high school it came down to Wake Forest, St Joseph’s and Drexel. Although Miles didn’t commit to the Dragons the first time around we are very excited that he will be finishing his college career in University City. Miles is a big time shooter who will come in and provide instant offense after he sits out the 2015/2016 season."

I object to the authors' characterization of the London/Mojica backcourt as "decent."

Mark Gasperini is visiting Drexel this week. At the outside chance that he signs, I think his nickname should be Mark "The Anti-Drexel" Gasperini..
