http://www.ussoccer.com/stories/2014/05/16/13/29/140516-usoc-fourth-round-pairings On May 28, the New York Cosmos of the NASL (second highest soccer level in the country) will host amateur club Brooklyn Italians in the U.S. Open Cup Third Round. The game will be played at St. John's. Is Shuart Stadium unavailable that day? If the Cosmos win, they will host the Red Bulls (who won the Supporters' Shield which means they had the most regular season points in MLS in 2013) in the Fourth Round in June at Shuart Stadium with date and time to be determined. The Cosmos won the NASL Soccer Bowl last year, and the Red Bulls have Thierry Henry who won World Cup 1998 playing for France. This would be a rare opportunity to see soccer at that high a level on Long Island. There was a U.S. Open Cup game in South Huntington in 2010, when the Long Island Rough Riders beat the New York Pancyprian Freedoms, but both of those are amateur clubs. I considered going to that game but I chose to watch the Yankees at home instead. If the Italians, who won the U.S. Open Cup in 1991 when there were no professional clubs, beat the Cosmos, the Red Bulls will host the Italians in Harrison, NJ in the Fourth Round. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_Lamar_Hunt_U.S._Open_Cup lists the clubs in the 2014 U.S. Open Cup.
