Mother Teresa and I are 2 of the ten billion people who have never shoved somebody out of anger with an hdtv camera and regional sports network broadcasting it live...

Very nice win today after going down 10 early in a charged atmosphere. It would be nice to get a jump on these guys once for a change, but kudos to out scoring them 69-55 the final 37 minutes. I'm ready to say that the defense seems to be officially back to something we can hang our hat on every game. Nice shooting game for Tavon, but as has been mentioned by others, his basketball IQ leaves something to be desired. My only concern heading into the last two games, Chris is 3/18 from three the past four games. Need to get him back into a groove.

    Nice win guys,

You played better than we did down the stretch and that was the difference.

We weathered the storm and went 6-2 during it. Now all our pieces are back.

    That's it.

Lol - played better "down the stretch"... That makes sense if the final 37 minutes of the game is the stretch run. Take away that 10-0 handicap that we gave you guys and we blew you out...

Who originally wrote this? You (referring to Delaware) or Pat (referring to Drexel)? It's something that Pat would say, so I'm not sure what's going on here.

Looking at his edit reason it seems as though his text showed up in the quote instead of his reply and then he edited his post to put in his reply but didn't realize it originally showed up within the quote.

    Jay,

Did you watch the game?? Ever heard of ebb and flow of a game? Ever played or coached in an organized game?

Yes we went up 10-0 but who was up 6 with about 8 to go?? Drexel was. It was a 1 point game with 4 to go. Drexel played better down the stretch and won the game. That was the clear difference. Many games are won in the last few minutes.

Believe me, I didn't make one post about beating UD blowing you guys out at the DAC until now. In that game we blew you out for a full 40 minutes!! That's more than 37. Ha Ha I came on here and congratulated you on a win. I'm praying for a rematch on March 9.

Exactly. Sorry for the mess up. Yes, I think Delaware is the clear favorite with their full roster in play. I also hope they choke.

Played all the way through high school - on multiple all-star teams in a huge bball town where I grew up, Teaneck, NJ (including one with David West)... And started on the New Jersey team in the Maccabi Games (jewish olympics) on the 14 and under and 17 and under teams in Boston and Cleveland.... Never played one second of college bball - but I can assure you that I know when a team gets their butts kicked and you guys (after taking a 10-0 lead) got your butts kicked - at home - on senior night - with a packed house - on television.

    Go away.

And no one has made a post about us winning yesterday ON YOUR BOARD. Do you not understand the difference? You coming over to our board and rubbing a win in our face as you just did is troll like and immature. It's not the same thing as boasting about a win on your own board. How do you not understand this?

I wonder when the last time two teams played with as bad conference records as Drexel and Delaware have this late in the season.

Not sure, but if you think DU/UD at a combined conference record of 1-23 is bad, check out the potential Big 10 matchup of Rutgers/Minnesota coming up where they could enter 0-28!

Minnesota is 244th in the RPI and Rutgers is 253rd. It must be rare for one of the top six conferences to have two teams that far down the RPI this late in the season.

My bad. Been looking at roadway plans all day where I read them bottom to top.

Found out today that Monte is essentially my neighbor (prob a 5 min car ride, 20-25 minute walk), which I guess is why I see lawn signs for his basketball camp scattered around every year.
