For just the 2nd time ever UPenn will be visiting the DAC. Both teams stink. This will be an ugly game. Honestly this is a game we should win. It is a home game and my guess is that even though it is Penn, it will be empty. Penn got blown out earlier by La Salle, our only win.

    UPenn: 56
    Drexel: 54
42 total fouls between the teams (4 players, 2 for each team foul out)

    Vegas: Drexel -3.5

Penn was the one blowing out LaSalle 80-64. I see us finally putting it together, but I have been known to be wrong.

Penn is 4-5, but they have a horrible SOS with all their wins against teams in the bottom 50 of the RPI out of 351 teams. La Salle is 302nd in the RPI. The last Atlantic 10 team to be in the 300s in the RPI was when Fordham was 304th in 2009-2010.

The Sagarin and its components thinks Drexel will win against the spread:

    Overall: Drexel by 6.03
    Predictor: Drexel by 7.57
    Golden_Mean: Drexel by 5.63
    Recent: Drexel by 4.95

Don't think we win without Rodney. Don't think Bah and him make a compatible duo to play off each others' strengths. Something I'm trying to look into to see if my feeling is justified.

Correct, not sure how I missed that one so badly. Regardless, I still dont think we win this one, which on paper, we should.

Rodney is dressed and seemingly good to go.

Low scoring ugly affair. 21-20 Drexel at half. 9 fouls for Penn, 6 for Drexel. Penn shooting 34% with Drexel shooting 27%

Drexel won 53-52 in overtime. It was 44-44 after regulation. After Drexel traveled with 18 seconds left, Pennsylvania missed the last 2 shots of the game. There were 9 ties and 15 lead changes. Including overtime, it was a one possession game for 33:33, which was 74.6% of the game. Each team led by as much as 4. Antonio Woods of Pennsylvania missed with 1 second left in regulation and with 5 seconds left in overtime.

The CAA went 6-1 today and is 8th in the Conference RPI.

HAHA! This!!! We had a good laugh over it. I had to bail early because I had to go to work at 11pm, and if it wasn't for gum gate I would probably have been able to stay for the overtime.

Cant believe nobody is commenting/laughing at our annual botched inbounds play into our own corner, that this time led to a trap of Tavon and then a travel to give them the ball and a chance to win. Same old shit and shitty play. Game as a whole was very typical of a Drexel/Penn game. Low scoring, ugly and close throughout. Nice to get a win, since they will be few and far between.

It is an excellent write up. Arguably the best of the season, and hard to disagree with much of any of it. Well done.
