Can we add Neville Fincher to that list? I've seen his name a few times.

    Re: 2013-14 Basketball Recruiting

Seems like a big man is the biggest need. I hope our new DC Assualt Assistant from Morgan State has some connections.
Really looking forward to this season. We actually do have 6 players with good experience(3 transfers plus Walden/Damas/Polk).

That article is from July of 2011. Not sure if he was re-classified as a 2013 guy.

    Re: 2013-14 Basketball Recruiting

Rare that I ever step foot in this forum but what do we know about a Walter Foster -- 6'8 post guy from Fishburne Military Academy? ESPN's Reggie Rankin said on his Twitter account that he's committed to us.

Geez...recruiting and a Twitter mention in the same post? I really need to get some sleep!

Glad you caught that Chris. That's what happens when you can't post for a day-and-a-half. Another 6-8, 225-pound post player to play with Benimon, Alston and Flash next year.

I can't find much of anything on Foster. Anyone have any history on him?

Johnnie Davis, Walter Foster and Shamiek Sheppard. Two wings, one big. Only 2 ships available. Now -1 if that's true.

According to ESPN his other 2 offers are from Fresno State and St. Bonaventure. Good to see we are competing for talent against A-10 & Mountain West Schools.

    Bah Gawd 6-7, 290? That's a big boy.

If he signs, I'd hope the new Tiger Arena court is reinforced.

School roster lists him at 5'-9".. Gets his share of steals, tho it looked like more from sleight of hand than sheer speed..

Looks like this kid can pass, steal, and handle the ball. Reminds me of a old school PG. Oh yeah and hit the 3 every once and a while...

Reminds of the little white PG that UMBC had a few years ago when they went to NCAA Tourney, drawing a blank on his name?
