Old Dominion freshman quarterback Taylor Heinicke was chosen as The Sports Network/Fathead.com FCS National Freshman of the Week on Monday after leading the Monarchs to the second round of the FCS playoffs with a 38-15 win over Norfolk State on Saturday. ODU (10-2) plays at Georgia Southern (9-2) on Saturday in the second round.
