The Villanova Wildcats will play Eastern Washington in the Football Championship Subdivision national semifinals Friday at 8 p.m. in Cheney, Wash. The game will be televised by ESPN2.

[media-credit name="William Bretzger | News Journal" align="alignright" width="300"][/media-credit]In the other semifinal, Delaware (11-2) will host Georgia Southern (10-4) on Saturday at noon.

The defending national champions, Andy Talley’s Wildcats (9-4) advanced Saturday with a 42-24 victory over Appalachian State in the quarterfinals. Eastern Washington (11-2) defeated North Dakota State, 38-31, in overtime.
